COOK SERVE FOREVER Gameplay Secrets

One day consists of multiple shifts, and in between these shifts, you can choose one of three possible upgrades that will influence the difficulty of the dishes you’ll get to prepare for the rest of the day. The more difficult the chosen upgrade (for example, playing the rest of the day with three ingredients upgraded to the maximum difficulty), the more XP you earn for that location. Leveling up a location will also increase the difficulty of the QTE sequences needed to cook the dishes available at that location, which in turn will also gradually tighten the reaction times, making it harder for the player to successfully complete one day.

Furthermore, progression has been overhauled so that you earn a regular or holographic sticker based on how many Good and Perfect orders you earn, but even if you don’t earn any stickers, completing a level allows you to advance the story.

Every order is processed one at a time, there is no rush except to get the highest rating on levels that require it and after the order is done you can infinitely sit there and wait to serve it with pelo punishment.

Your quest for culinary greatness will take you and your food cart to over 50 locations throughout the city of Helianthus. Each location has its own menu and set of cooking objectives. For instance, you’ll serve pizza to burnt-out game developers at a video game studio, and old-timey eats at the city’s historic district.

Hey everyone! Lots of great announcements and exciting news coming down the pipeline, so let’s dive in!

The game offers a vibrant culinary journey filled with hundreds of ingredients, recipes, and a diverse cast throughout its story-rich campaign.

During the testing process, we found players became obsessed with collecting all the stickers, so we created a cookbook to show off your progress.

Hi I have two screens. When I tried to play the game on my second screen, it seems highly likely to crush during animation. 9 out 10 times it did. But it will not crush when I use the first screen. Maybe a bug? Any ideas? Thank you

At the moment of writing this review, the game is in Early Access, but the content available is already fully playable and bug-free. As of October 2023, a prologue and two chapters have been released, totaling around 5 hours of gameplay, and another two chapters are planned to be added in the future. In comparison to the series, mastering cooking recipes is not the central focus anymore, and the gameplay is considerably simplified. Fulfilling orders is now done by correctly inputting QTE sequences and thus building up a combo score by pressing the arrow buttons as indicated on the screen, with some of the elements having extra modifiers to make the gameplay not so trivial.

The game also includes over two hours of original music by award winning composer Jonathan Geer. The soundtrack hooks into the game’s narrative in some interesting ways.

The goal was to maintain the more accessible relaxed vibes of the initial version COOK SERVE FOREVER Gameplay while allowing players accustomed to the fast pace of previous titles to challenge themselves. As such, you can now prepare two items at once.

A spiritual sequel to 2013 hit Cook, Serve, Delicious, players must cook their way through a bustling solarpunk city as they work their way from a food cart chef to the culinary queen.

The levels have also been overhauled so that there’s pelo more need to grind the same level over and over again to advance—simply complete a level to advance the game, and every single level advances the story!

You’ll have to alternate simple key presses with longer ones, simultaneously press a specific combination of keys, remember your last key pressed, and twist your brain for those annoying “NOT” modifiers that are randomly added to some of the keys in the ingredient sequence (such as “NOT arrow down”).
